Caraustar manufactures spiral wound, paper core tubes for multiple uses including paper, fabric, film and many other things. Caraustar serves customers in markets throughout the United States with the Woodbine Plant covering an area from Miami to Panama City, Florida and Charleston, South Carolina. Caraustar is headquartered in Austell, Georgia and has plants throughout the United States. The Woodbine Plant was formerly part of Summer Industries which relocated from Nassau County, Florida to Camden County, Georgia. Caraustar purchased Summer Industries due in large part to its position in the paper core tube industry as well as the quality of their product and the technology engaged in their manufacturing process.
